Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga late this week moved to reiterate his ongoing commitment to the cause in Spain’s capital.
This comes amid confirmation that the midfielder has reported back for pre-season training ahead of time.
Camavinga is of course fresh off what proved to be a hugely underwhelming individual campaign in 2025/26. Owing to a combination of fitness woes and simple lack of form, the 23-year-old found himself knocked down Real Madrid’s engine room pecking order.
He was singled out for heavy criticism on the part of the Blancos faithful throughout the season, accused time and time again of having not developed as a player since his arrival in La Liga.
Camavinga, though, appears fully determined to repair his reputation over the course of the year ahead.
As confirmed by Spanish journalist Alvaro Esteban, the Frenchman was present at Valdebebas on Friday, for a pre-pre-season individualised training session.
‘Cama’ will now set about impressing new manager José Mourinho and his staff with a view to wrestling back a starting berth in 2026/27.
