Speaking to AS, former PSG head coach Unai Emery said he believes Kylian Mbappé can become a huge success if he makes the move to Real Madrid.
Emery worked with Mbappé when he coached the France international at PSG in the 2017-18 season. “Which league would I advise him to play in? When I was in France, I loved watching him play and I was happy to be able to see it first hand. When I went to England, I would have liked him to have seen him play in the Premier League. If I return to Spain, I hope he comes to La Liga. Mbappé has got what it takes to mark an era at Real Madrid and may end up feeling a little unfulfilled at Paris Saint-Germain.”
“I’m sure there will be some things about being at PSG that will give him what he needs and maybe other things that won’t. And perhaps Real Madrid might be able to offer him some of the things that he is lacking at PSG. We are lucky to have two of the best teams in the world in Spain – Real Madrid and Barcelona, and I personally would like them to continue having the best players in the world.”
