Another pair of players have been ruled out of contention to feature in Spain’s upcoming meeting with Türkiye.
That’s according to journalist Miguel Angel Diaz of COPE, who highlights Alejandro Grimaldo and Jorge de Frutos as the pair in question.
The left-back and winger are understood to be dealing with respective fitness problems, set to be left out for the evening on Tuesday as a result.
They follow the likes of Lamine Yamal and Dean Huijsen in being forced to sit out for the reigning European champions during the November international break.
Spain are primed to return to the pitch later tonight, in a meeting with the aforementioned Türkiye.
Luis de la Fuente’s troops are sitting pretty atop the Group E table heading into the clash, with five wins from five to date.
Though they have not yet technically qualified for the World Cup, a history-making victory would therefore be required on the part of Türkiye, by a margin of seven or more goals, to oust La Roja from top spot.
