Two Barcelona stars report for training on day off

Two members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona made clear their commitment to the cause on Wednesday.

This came by way of respective appearances at the club’s training base.

Barcelona’s squad have been afforded a couple of days of well-earned rest this week, following the conclusion of their pre-season tour of Asia.

This comes ahead of a return to action this weekend, in a Joan Gamper Trophy meeting with Serie A outfit Como.

As alluded to above, though, two members of Hansi Flick’s squad were in no mood for rest on Wednesday…

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Ferran, who did not play the last game due to discomfort, showed up on Wednesday to train individually at the Ciutat Esportiva, as well as Gavi, tireless after a preseason in which he finished as the team’s top scorer.’

Clear signals of intent from two players ready to push for places in Barcelona’s first-choice XI this coming season.
