La Liga outfit Athletic Club will be forced to make do without the contributions of a pair of important players in their next outing.
This comes owing to developments in the Basque side’s clash with Barcelona.
Ernesto Valverde’s troops are of course fresh off something of an outing to forget on Saturday evening.
After making the trip to Catalunya’s capital to take on reigning Spanish champions Barcelona, Athletic found themselves condemned to the wrong side of a 4-0 result.
And along the way, Los Leones also saw two players pick up suspensions.
First came Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta, who picked up his fifth yellow card of the campaign during the first-half, ruled out for one game as a result.
Then, it was the turn of Oihan Sancet, whose dangerous challenge on the other side of the interval culminated in a straight red card.
Both players will therefore be unavailable for selection to face Levante next weekend.
