Trio of clubs make contact with Barcelona as Vitor Roque’s stance on departure confirmed

A fresh insight into the future of Barcelona starlet Vitor Roque has this week been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards two options as being taken into consideration by Roque and Barcelona alike for next season.

The subject of the Brazilian international’s future has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines over recent days.

This comes with the arrival of Hansi Flick on the bench in Catalunya’s capital having given rise to fresh hope of Roque carving out a role for himself moving forward.

It was widespread knowledge that previous Blaugrana boss Xavi did not trust in the talents of the January arrival at the club, therefore eager to sanction a summer sale.

Flick, though, will now be afforded the chance to run the role over Roque.

In the case of the German being sufficiently impressed, the 19-year-old will stay put to fight for his place in 2024/25, considered the ideal scenario on the part of Roque and his entourage alike.

Should Flick deem the youngster as not ready, on the other hand, a permanent sale will be sought out.

Roque has no intention of heading out on loan next season, eager to find a long-term home where his talents will be fully appreciated.

It will therefore no doubt be of interest to hear that three unnamed clubs from across the continent recently made contact with the Brazilian’s representatives, to gather information regarding a potential summer deal.

All of this taken into consideration, Sport conclude that:

‘The player’s agents have already told Deco that they will abide by what the club ends up ruling and, what’s more, that they will do everything they can to facilitate its execution.’
