An insight into the current mindset of Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold has late this week come to the fore online. This comes amid the assurance that the Englishman is not unhappy in Spain’s capital.
Defender Alexander-Arnold’s name has of course reemerged as a prominent one in the media chatter surrounding Real Madrid over recent weeks.
Following a challenging opening to the new campaign, which has seen Denzel Dumfries and even Federico Valverde favoured to him at right-back, it has been murmured that the 28-year-old has become unsettled at the Santiago Bernabéu.
In fact, Alexander-Arnold has been tipped to seek out a move away from Real Madrid as early as January.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the defender’s camp is anything to go by, then as much appears highly unlikely.
As per a report from The Athletic:
‘Sources close to the player dismiss suggestions he is unhappy or considering an exit, but it is clear he has not truly established himself at the Bernabeu. Those close to him say he intends to fight for his place at Madrid.’
