Barcelona star Andreas Christensen was the first player to arrive at the club’s training ground for their morning session on Thursday.
This marks the 2nd day in succession on which the former Chelsea man has been first to report to The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Stopper Christensen, for his part, is fresh off what was an altogether difficult term in Catalunya’s capital in 2024/25.
Owing to a pair of long-term injury problems, the Dane took to the pitch in a competitive setting on just six occasions.
Such woes have given rise to mounting speculation surrounding his future of late, amid suggestions that Christensen could be pushed out if an enticing offer arrives for his signature.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from Barcelona this week is anything to go by, then the 29-year-old has evidently not yet thrown in the towel on his Blaugrana career.
This comes with Christensen, on Thursday, for the 2nd day straight having been the first player to report to the club’s training ground, at 7.25am.
