Tanguy Ndombele could leave Tottenham before the summer transfer deadline closes.
Spurs head coach Nuno Espírito Santo has confirmed that he will not be with the team against Wolves on Sunday and the player wants to leave the North London club.
“I will be honest with you, Tanguy is not going to be involved on Sunday,” Nuno said.
The Athletic reports that the player’s intention is to move to Spain or Germany. It will be a difficult operation as there are no funds for transfers at the Spanish clubs and Ndombele is under contract with the Premier League side until 2025.
Another challenge will be finding a club that can afford his £200,000-a-week wages.
