Speaking to Movistar after Real Madrid beat Granada 4-1 on Thursday, Thibaut Courtois spoke about the important victory for his side and his team-mate Luka Modric.

“We didn’t play as well in the second half. They scored to make it 2-1 but then we found the two late goals to put the game to bed. We couldn’t relax and had to be aware of their counter attacks. The most important thing is the victory and to now look ahead to Sunday.

On Luka Modric

Luka [Modric] looks after himself and he has shown this season that 35 is only a number. He’s always looking to get on the ball and continues to show his quality.”
