‘They tell me I’m sick’ – Ex-Barcelona star admits he watches every Blaugrana match

A former member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has admitted that he remains an avid follower of Hansi Flick’s side.

The player in question? Pau Víctor.

Frontman Víctor for his part brought a close to his stint on the books of Barcelona last summer.

After playing a bit-part role for the Blaugrana following his arrival from Catalan rivals Girona, the Spaniard was quickly sold on to Portuguese outfit SC Braga.

Víctor has since gone on to play a more prominent role with his new employers, boasting a haul of 11 goals and six assists for Braga across the season to date.

As alluded to above, though, this has not stopped the 24-year-old from keeping a close eye on developments back at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Speaking during an interview with Jijantes on Tuesday, Víctor admitted:

“Here they tell me I’m sick because I don’t miss a single Barça match, I watch them all! It probably didn’t start the way people expected, Iñigo’s absence did a lot of damage. Now I see the team looking really good.”
