The players on Barcelona’s shortlist

Barcelona strengthened their squad over the summer with seven players. Four players arrived on free transfers (Franck Kessié, Andreas Christensen, Marcos Alonso and Héctor Bellerín), while Barça splashed out on Raphinha (€58m+7), Jules Koundé (€60m+4.7) and Robert Lewandowski (€45m+5).

On Sunday, Barcelona’s director of football, Mateu Alemany, said the club must now take into account the economic difficulties they are going through and that they must adjust to the financial fair-play rules set by La Liga.
