The 4 Barcelona stars who could leave next summer

La Liga giants Barcelona could part with as many as four members of the club’s current first-team ranks with a view to next season.

That’s according to The Athletic, who have this week provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

The first two likely exits come by way of contract expirations.

Ahead of the close of their respective terms in Hansi Flick’s squad next summer, neither Robert Lewandowski or Andreas Christensen are expected to be offered extensions.

Turnung focus towards potential sales, though, at the front of the queue comes Ronald Araújo.

Once considered the future of Barcelona’s backline, Araújo is now viewed by many at the Camp Nou as expendable, likely to be shipped off in the case of a reasonable offer arriving for his signature in 2026.

And following the Uruguayan out the door could well be Marc Casadó.

Youngster Casadó is understood to have lost the faith of manager Flick, with the return to fitness of Marc Bernal meaning Spanish international Casadó could also be allowed to depart in an effort to raise funds.
