As reported by Mario Cortegana of Marca, Real Madrid and Real Sociedad are working on the final details of a deal for Take Kubo.
The Japanese player is set to join the Basque club until 2027, but Madrid will retain 50% of the player’s rights.
The good relationship between both parties has made it possible to accelerate an operation that stalled for some weeks.
The problem was that at the Santiago Bernabéu they were only looking to sell on a permanent deal.
The matter has been resolved with the sale of 50% of Kubo’s rights for an amount that has not been disclosed.
Real Madrid will reserve 50% of any future sale and will have a buy-back option over the next five seasons.
Madrid are making this move in the hope that Kubo will return to the capital and are convinced that this is the ideal place for him to grow and that this can happen like it did with Martin Ødegaard.
