Manchester City star Erling Haaland has opened up on his lasting affection for a member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The player in question? Jude Bellingham.
Haaland and Bellingham of course locked horns on the pitch for the latest occasion on Wednesday.
After Real Madrid welcomed Manchester City to Spain’s capital for a Champions League clash, the latter ultimately emerged on the right side of a 2-1 result.
Haaland for his part featured from the off in the matchup, and notched the decisive goal from the penalty spot during the first-half.
Speaking to the media post-match, though, the prolific Norwegian was eager to reiterate his ongoing appreciation for Blancos standout Jude Bellingham.
After the pair spent time as teammates in Germany with Borussia Dortmund, Haaland admitted:
“Jude Bellingham is such a good guy. I miss him, I miss playing with him.”
