A post on social media late this week has turned heads across the fanbase of La Liga giants Barcelona.
This comes after brand ‘Rinat Europe’ appeared to let slip Joan García’s signing ahead of time.
The name of goalkeeper Joan has of course dominated the headlines at Barcelona over the course of the last 24 hours.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the Blaugrana have paid the 24-year-old’s Espanyol release clause in full.
The fee was deposited with La Liga, meaning it remains pending approval, expected to arrive at some point early next week.
As alluded to above, though, this did not stop one of Joan’s personal sponsors from announcing his Camp Nou switch online.
In a post on their official Instagram account, as cited by Diario Sport, ‘Rinat Europe’ wrote:
“Joan García congratulations friend!! What a pride to have spent this journey with you until you reached one of the best teams in the world.”
