Supporters of La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week moved to lavish fresh praise on a member of the club’s midfield ranks.
The player in question? Arda Güler.
This comes owing to the Turkish international’s performance in Real Madrid’s final pre-season fixture.
Los Blancos made the trip to Austria on Tuesday, for a meeting with WSG Tirol. When all was said and done, the visitors made short work of their hosts, to the tune of a 4-0 romp.
The aforementioned Arda for his part featured from the off in the clash, from his new position deep in midfield.
And the 20-year-old produced the kind of performance which has only seen excitement surrounding the season awaiting him in Spain’s capital mount.
Controlling proceedings from the Real Madrid engine room, Arda looked remarkably at ease in his playmaking role, floating across the grass, picking passes, and laying on a brilliant assist.
Post-match, those of a Blancos persuasion, in turn, were again quick to hail their side’s up-and-coming midfield gem, widely described as ‘special’ online.
