An insight into the kind of financial investment which would be required on the part of Barcelona to land Dušan Vlahović has this weekend been revealed.
This comes amid a fresh round of links between the two parties.
Frontman Vlahović is for his part set to become a free agent early next week, upon the expiration of his contract terms with Italian giants Juventus.
The Serbian’s agents are in turn working hard to find a new club for their client.
Amid this search, contact was recently made with the brass at the aforementioned Barcelona, to gauge the interest of the Blaugrana in a deal.
And though Deco and co. do not consider Vlahović a priority, amid their ongoing search for reinforcements up top, the 26-year-old has not been completely ruled out.
So, just how much would Barca need to commit to on the financial front to bring Vlahović to La Liga?
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing sources in Italy:
‘He’s asking for a salary of around eight million euros per season and a signing bonus of 15 million euros.’
