Barcelona star Raphinha on Saturday put personal disappointment to one side, to showcase his leadership within the club’s dressing room.
This came by way of an appearance at the Ciutat Esportiva.
Winger Raphinha is for his part fresh off an altogether difficult last 24 hours.
In the final stretch of his recovery from a hamstring injury, the Brazilian was forced to halt his work, owing to concern surrounding a potential setback.
Raphinha, as a result, has been ruled out of Sunday’s showdown between Barca and arch rivals Real Madrid.
The 28-year-old, though, did not allow as much to impact on his duties as a member of the captaincy contingent in Hansi Flick’s squad.
As confirmed by Diario Sport, Raphinha reported to the Blaugrana’s training ground earlier today.
Prior to the club’s final preparatory training session before making the trip to Madrid, the former Leeds United man sent a personal message of encouragement to his teammates, ahead of watching on from home tomorrow evening.
