Seville to replace Bilbao as host city for Euro 2020

Seville is set to be named as Spain’s host city for Euro 2020 to replace Bilbao, according to Reuters.

Spain’s three Group E games will be played there plus a last-16 match. Bilbao was dropped as a venue on Wednesday as it was unable to guarantee organisers it could host fans in the stadium for matches.

Seville’s La Cartuja stadium, used for this year’s Copa del Rey final, is expected to become the new venue.
