Sevilla trio return for Atlético clash

Three key members of Sevilla’s first-team setup are back in the club’s latest matchday squad.

Quique Sánchez Flores’ troops, of course, will mark their return to action on Sunday night, when they welcome Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid to Andalusia.

Sevilla will head into proceedings hopeful of building on a timely return to winning ways, after a Youssef En-Nesyri-inspired downing of Rayo Vallecano earlier this week.

And the efforts of the Nervionenses towards precisely that, as alluded to above, are set to be aided by the return of three headline players.

Most notable comes Erik Lamela.

Wide-man Lamela, for his part, was forced to sit out each of his side’s last two La Liga fixtures, after picking up an injury in training.

The Argentine international, though, has been named amongst boss Quique’s squad to face Atlético.

And joining him in returning to the fray are the duo of Sergio Ramos and Suso, fresh off serving respective one-game suspensions last time out against Rayo.
