A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Sevilla is closing on a move to Germany, with Bayer Leverkusen.
That’s according to market insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Loïc Badé as the player in question.
Stopper Badé was for his part first linked with a move to the BayArena earlier this summer.
Amid a search for a replacement for the outbound Jonathan Tah, the Frenchman was quickly labelled as a leading target on the part of the Leverkusen brass.
The links between the parties had since gone somewhat quiet, giving rise to suggestions that Erik ten Hag and co. had turned attentions elsewhere.
But as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, then Badé’s Bayer Leverkusen switch appears to be very much back on the cards.
As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:
‘Bayer Leverkusen advance in talks with Sevilla to sign Loïc Badé, he’s the top target for Erik ten Hag. Discussions on fee over €25m proceed well.’
