Sevilla reach agreement in principle with Werder Bremen for Sweden international Ludwig Augustinsson

Following Gonzalo Montiel’s arrival in Sevilla on Friday morning, the next player to head to Sevilla will be Swedish international Ludwig Augustinsson, according to AS. This has been confirmed by Werder Bremen, who, although not mentioning Sevilla, have made the transfer of the Swedish international official.

“Ludwig Augustinsson is about to leave for a foreign club. Werder Bremen have reached an agreement in principle with the Swedish international’s new club. Augustinsson has been absent from training in order to hold talks with the club. He will not be available for the upcoming home game against Paderborn,” reads a statement on the German club’s website.

Sevilla will pay a transfer fee of around €5 million for Augustinsson, who arrives to strengthen the left-back position and provide competition for Marcos Acuña following Sergio Escudero’s departure from the club.
