The board at La Liga outfit Sevilla are giving consideration to a summer move for a member of the defensive ranks at Olympique Lyonnais.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing transfer insider Luis César Merlo, who highlights Nicolás Tagliafico as the player in question.
Something of a fire sale is of course expected at the aforementioned Lyon this summer.
As much comes after the French heavyweights were condemned to a shock relegation to Ligue 2, for financial shortcomings.
On the lookout for reinforcements at left-back with a view to next season, Sevilla, in turn, have earmarked Tagliafico as a leading option.
The Argentine international is expected to be available at a cut-price fee over the weeks ahead, a fact which the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan have not allowed to go overlooked.
As per MD:
The 32-year-old full-back knows (new Sevilla manager Matías) Almeyda , having met him in the Banfield dressing room, and according to journalist Luis César Merlo, who specializes in the Argentine market, Tagliafico could end up at Sevilla.’
