Sevilla and Real Sociedad have made contact with Lyon for Houssem Aouar, according to Matteo Moretto.
Aouar’s contract with the French club expires in 2023. Lyon are now faced with the dilemma of selling him this summer or letting him leave for free in a year, given that for the moment a contract renewal has not been agreed.
Sevilla sporting director Monchi, according to Moretto, has looked at the option, given that he is a player with an interesting profile.
RMC Sport reported a few days ago that Aouar has asked for time to think about his next move and has not ruled out any of the options mentioned above.
Lyon are reportedly open to the departure. In the 2021/22 season, the 23-year-old scored eight goals and assisted four times in the 45 matches he played.
Aouar, who joined the Lyon first-team squad in 2016, has represented France at senior and underage level.
