Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos has all but confirmed that he is hopeful of crossing paths with Los Blancos at the ongoing Club World Cup.
Xabi Alonso’s Real are of course in the thick of their campaign at the newly-formatted CWC, primed to lock horns with Italian heavyweights Juventus this coming Wednesday.
Ramos, meanwhile, is also still alive and kicking in the competition, having played a starring role en route to CF Monterrey booking their own spot in the knockout rounds.
The Mexican side will take on Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, too.
And if his latest social media activity is anything to go by, it would appear that Ramos would like nothing more than to march on, before ultimately going head-to-head with his former employers…
Marca over the weekend ran a story suggesting that the veteran defender ‘dreams’ of a reunion with Real Madrid in the USA this summer.
