Sergio Agüero out for 3-4 weeks with calf injury

New Barcelona striker Sergio Agüero has suffered a tear in the inner calf muscle on his right leg, according to AS.

The Argentine striker joined from Manchester City over the summer and is expected to be out for three or four weeks.

Apart from the already known absence of Dutchman Frenkie de Jong for tonight’s game against Juventus, the club has announced the absence of two more players: Sergio Agüero and Clement Lenglet.

This is bad news for Barcelona’s new signing, who, according to some reports, has also taken Lionel Messi’s departure very badly. One of the reasons Kun had agreed to come to the Catalan club was the possibility of playing alongside his compatriot and close friend.

Catalan outlet La Porteria report that Agüero had asked his lawyers to study his contract to prepare his imminent departure, although the player’s entourage have since denied this claim.
