Ronald Koeman set to become Netherlands national team manager

Former Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman is close to reaching an agreement to become the Netherlands national team manager after the 2022 World Cup, according to Catalan outlet Sport via NOS.

NOS report that the idea was that current boss Louis Van Gaal would remain in charge until the World Cup in December and then be replaced by Koeman, who coached the national team before taking the job at Barça.

Koeman was sacked as head coach of Barcelona in October after 14 months in charge.
