Ronald Koeman not impressed by Barcelona’s planning

Ronald Koeman is launching a new edition of his summer golf tournament in Sant Esteve de Sesrovires and had some thoughts on Barcelona, report Relevo.

Before going out on the field, he shared a buggie with Pep Guardiola and took the opportunity to review some news about Barcelona. He spoke about Barça’s moves in the market, and the financial situation of the club.

Koeman said that he hopes that Frenkie de Jong will stay at the club for many years, and said that Barça need to value their youth. “You always have to look at what you have in your house before going to look outside,” he insisted when talking about Pedri, Gavi, Nico González and Ronald Araújo.

The ex-Barcelona manager also had some more negative things to say about the state of the club. “From the outside, I think that neither economically nor football-wise they are working for the future. I think the club should look to the next few years. No one can discuss the signings of Gündogan or Lewandowski, as they will be there for two or three years at most,” he added.
