Real Madrid star Rodrygo has taken to social media on Friday, to respond to news of Trent Alexander-Arnold’s arrival at the club finally being made official.
The name of defender Alexander-Arnold has of course dominated the headlines in Spain’s capital across the day to date.
This comes after the England international’s long-anticipated Real Madrid switch was announced by Los Blancos themselves.
In a post across the club’s website and social media platforms, Real confirmed:
‘Real Madrid C. F. and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold for the next six seasons, from 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2031.’
And as alluded to above, one of Alexander-Arnold’s new teammates has, in turn, moved to make clear his delight with the news of the transfer.
Taking to his Instagram account on Friday afternoon, Blancos frontman Rodrygo took to the comments section of the official TAA announcement, to simply write:
