Rodri set to move into departing Barcelona star’s house

Barcelona star Ferran Torres is ready to hand the keys to his home over to Manchester City midfielder and international teammate Rodri over the coming weeks.

This of course comes with one on the way out of Catalunya’s capital, and the other on his way in.

Frontman Ferran is for his part inching towards an imminent departure from Barcelona. With an agreement on the terms of a contract already in place with Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain, the 26-year-old is hopeful of the Camp Nou brass green-lighting his sale over the days ahead.

Midfielder Rodri, on the other hand, is pushing to take his talents to the city of Barcelona. Having long made the call to bring a close to his stint on the books of Manchester City, the Ballon d’Or winner has opted for a Blaugrana switch over one to arch rivals Real Madrid.

And as alluded to above, should all go according to plan over the coming days and weeks, then Ferran and Rodri could well organise a deal of their own away from the pitch.

As per a report from Gerard Romero, speaking on his official Twitch stream (as cited by Mercato Blaugrana on ‘X’):

“Rodri is going to live in Ferran Torres’s house. He has already spoken with Ferran to take over his house. So there you go, it’s done, it’s done, it’s a done deal.

“Ferran, already on his way to Paris, tells him: ‘Rodri, don’t worry, I’m leaving you my house.'”
