Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski is ready to knock back talks over a departure from the club until he is informed of the final decision made by Hansi Flick and co. over his future.
This comes with the Pole giving full priority to the Blaugrana.
Frontman Lewandowski is as things stand due to bring a close to his stint in Catalunya’s capital next summer.
His contract terms are set to expire, with no offer having yet been forthcoming regarding a renewal.
A number of clubs from across Europe and beyond, in turn, are understood to have expressed an interest in bringing ‘Lewa’ in on a free transfer.
As things stand, however, any such suitors will be forced to wait.
As per a report from Diario Sport, citing Polish journalist Tomasz Wlodarczyk, ‘the centre-forward will not make any decision until he knows what FC Barcelona propose to him’.
Lewandowski is prepared to ‘wait’ until the final months or even weeks of the season, in the hopes of convincing the Camp Nou brass to offer him a new deal.
