Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has on Saturday continued his climb up the Blaugrana’s list of all-time top goalscorers.
This comes after the Pole added to his tally once again this evening.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action, in a La Liga meeting with Athletic Club.
Veteran frontman Lewandowski, now back fully fit and firing, was as expected chosen to lead the line for the day’s hosts.
And the 37-year-old wasted little time in justifying his inclusion, lashing home at the near post inside five minutes to put Barca in front.
And as alluded to above, in the process, Lewandowski continued to make history.
As revealed by statistician MisterChip on ‘X’, the former Bayern Munich man now sits joint-16th on the all-time list of Barcelona goalscorers.
‘Lewa’ has joined José Antonio Zaldúa and the more recognisable Luis Enrique on 108 total goals in Blaugrana colours.
