Viewers of the meeting between Barcelona and Olympiacos have on Tuesday collectively hit out at the team of officials.
This comes amid widespread claims of Barcelona being favoured by those in charge of overseeing the fixture.
Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana are of course currently locked in action on the continent, in a Champions League meeting with Greek giants Olympiacos.
And as things stand, it is the former who are in firm control, leading the clash by a hefty six goals to one.
As alluded to above, though, as much has not come without its controversies along the way.
Early in the 2nd-half, a string of head-turning decisions were made by the referee and his team of officials, one of which saw an Olympiacos goal ruled out, before they were forced to take a penalty instead.
Then, with the scoreline at 2-1, the visitors saw Santiago Hezze sent off in surprising fashion, after Marc Casadó went to ground holding his face.
With further chatter having also surrouded a spot-kick awarded to Barcelona, viewers have in turn been quick to make clear their disillusionment with the standard of officiating in Catalunya’s capital:
