Real Valladolid star: Barcelona attacker is ‘the best player in the world’

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has this weekend come in for some well-earned fresh praise on the part of an opposing player.

Wide-man Lamine has of course taken his place front and centre in the headlines across the world of football over the course of recent days.

This comes after the 17-year-old conjured up nothing short of a remarkable performance on the continent.

En route to Barcelona’s 3-3 Champions League draw with Italian champions Inter Milan, Lamine took his teammates on his shoulders, dragging the Blaugrana back from two goals down.

The youngster, in turn, was afforded a rest from the off on Saturday, as Barca turned attentions back towards matters on the domestic front, in a La Liga meeting with Real Valladolid.

Lamine was ultimately introduced to proceedings upon Dani Rodríguez picking up an injury, though.

And the Spanish international evidently made a telling impression on his opponents…

Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle in his side’s 2-1 defeat, Real Valladolid defender Adam Aznou revaled his take that:

“Lamine, for me, is the best player in the world right now.”
