Real Sociedad star Jon Aramburu secured for himself a piece of modern club history in the club’s latest outing.
This came courtesy of a last-gasp winner.
Real Sociedad were back in action on Saturday, after making the trip to Madrid for a La Liga meeting with Getafe.
When all was said and done, the Basque outfit emerged on the right side of a 2-1 result.
And it was the aforementioned Aramburu who proved himself the difference-maker come the full-time whistle.
After Juanmi appeared to have done enough to secure a share of the spoils for hosts Getafe with a 90th-minute equaliser, defender Aramburu popped up with a winner deep into injury time.
And as alluded to above, in the process, the Venezuelan etched his name into the history books.
As revealed by statisticians Opta:
‘Jon Aramburu’s goal, at 95:40, is Real Sociedad’s latest winner in La Liga in the 21st century.’
