La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have late this week been afforded some timely positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation of the return of a key member of the club’s backline to group training.
The player in question? Jon Aramburu.
Right-back Aramburu had for his part been forced to sit out training in the Basque Country across the week to date.
This came owing to a fitness setback suffered in the warmup for Real Sociedad’s La Liga defeat at the hands of Barcelona last weekend.
As confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, however:
‘Real Sociedad trained for the penultimate time this week at Zubieta, with Jon Mikel Aramburu joining the squad after a few days on the sidelines due to a knee strain.’
The Venezuelan, in turn, is expected to be cleared to play his part against Rayo Vallecano in La Real’s final pre-international break fixture this weekend.
Still absent from Sergio Francisco’s ranks, on the other hand, is Aritz Elustondo, who continues to struggle with a rib injury.
