A member of the first-team ranks at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad was left angered after being forced into a premature departure from training on Thursday.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Beñat Turrientes as the player in question.
La Real’s players, it is understood, were put through their paces in a training match between ranks this morning.
During as much, midfielder Turrientes was the subject of a strong challenge on the part of teammate Luka Sučić.
The former was left grounded and in evident pain in the aftermath of the tackle.
After attempting to continue, Turrientes was then forced to succumb to his fitness complaint, before departing the training pitch looking ‘upset and angry’.
Real Sociedad’s players will now enjoy three days of vacation to rest up and work on any potential ailments during the international break.
For Turrientes, it remains to be seen if he is facing up to any kind of incoming spell on the sidelines.
