La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have on Thursday announced a considerable personnel blow in the club’s first-team ranks.
This comes amid confirmation of a fresh injury suffered by attacker Orri Óskarsson.
Óskarsson, for his part, was forced into a premature departure from group training with the rest of Imanol’s Real Sociedad squad this morning.
This was later confirmed by the club (as per Mundo Deportivo) to have come as a result of a left hamstring issue, which is thought to have proven serious enough to bring the 20-year-old’s debut season in La Liga to a premature end.
The news stemming from San Sebastian on Thursday was not all of a negative nature, though.
This comes with a return to full training having also been confirmed for all of Ander Barrenetxea, Sheraldo Becker and Álvaro Odriozola.
As per MD:
‘Barrenetxea, Becker and Odriozola returned to training with the group and could be back in time for Sunday’s derby against Athletic Bilbao.’
