La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have this week moved ahead with an opening proposal for a member of the midfield ranks at Saudi outfit Al Qadsiah.
That’s according to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, who highlights Ezequiel ‘Equi’ Fernández as the player in question.
It is of course common knowledge across Spain at this point that Real Sociedad are on the lookout for reinforcements in the middle of the park with a view to next season.
As much comes with engine room standout Martín Zubimendi all set to take his talents to the Premier League, with Arsenal.
And amid their ongoing search for the ideal replacement, all roads have led La Real to the aforementioned Equi Fernández.
A 22-year-old Argentine youth international generally operates in a deep-lying role, and has long been held in high regard across Europe and beyond.
This week, Real Sociedad have therefore moved to beat out the competition to his signature.
As per a report from the aforementioned Matteo Moretto:
‘Real Sociedad have offered between 18 and 20 million euro, plus a percentage of any future sale, for Ezequiel Fernández. Negotiations are very advanced, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.’
