Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold has this weekend confirmed that he will not celebrate, in the case of finding the net against former employers Liverpool.
Defender Alexander-Arnold is of course primed to lock horns with the club whom he departed just months ago this coming week.
This comes as Real Madrid prepare to make the trip to Anfield, for a meeting with Premier League champions Liverpool.
The fixture comes as a special one for a whole host of reasons, not least in pitting two of the game’s biggest sides against one another yet again.
It will mark a particularly memorable one, though, for the aforementioned Trent Alexander-Arnold.
TAA brought a close to his career-long stint on Liverpool’s books this past summer, to link up with Real Madrid as a free agent.
Speaking during an interview with Prime Video this week, the possibility of finding the net against Arne Slot’s troops was therefore put to the England international.
Alexander-Arnold, though, was quick to assure that:
“If I was to score, I wouldn’t celebrate. No.”
