The brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid are ready to bring in a ‘secret’ addition to the club’s first-team ranks this summer.
That’s according to journalist Joaquin Maroto of AS, who has also revealed that the unnamed player will be plying his trade in this evening’s international showdown between Spain and Portugal.
The finale of the Nations League is of course set to be kicked into gear in short order.
The matchup will see two of European football’s heavyweight nations, in Spain and Portugal, lock horns at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
And keeping a close eye on proceedings on Sunday evening will be the board at the aforementioned Real Madrid.
As per Joaquin Maroto:
‘Florentino Pérez’s secret signing plays in the Nations League final tonight. And that’s all I can say.’
Of those set to feature from the off in the Nations League showpiece, most consistently linked with a potential move to Real Madrid this summer has been Real Sociedad midfielder Martín Zubimendi.
