La Liga giants Real Madrid have tied up an agreement to appoint the club’s next head coach.
This comes amid confirmation of a deal being put in place between Los Blancos and iconic tactician José Mourinho.
It has of course long been common knowledge that, amid their ongoing search for a new manager, Mourinho’s name had been circled in red by the Bernabéu brass.
Fresh off a season marred by behind-the-scenes drama and controversy, Florentino Pérez earmarked the Portuguese as the necessary strong hand required to get Real Madrid back on the right path.
Negotiations were therefore kicked into gear with Mourinho and his entourage, over the terms of a reunion.
And as alluded to above, early this week, a full agreement is understood to have been reached.
As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:
‘José Mourinho back to Real Madrid, HERE WE GO! All terms have been verbally agreed between José Mourinho and Real Madrid, waiting to sign all documents. Plan for initial two-year deal.’
