Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé set for €61 million payout after winning PSG lawsuit

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has secured victory in his long-standing legal battle with former club Paris Saint-Germain.

This comes amid confirmation of the Frenchman being set for a monumental payout on the part of the board at the Parc des Princes.

In info first revealed by French outlet RMC Sport, and since relayed by Fabrizio Romano:

‘Kylian Mbappé has won the lawsuit against PSG, with judge ruling in the player’s favour.

‘As a result, the Court of Paris have sided with the footballer and order PSG to pay around €61 million, reports RMC.’

Mbappé’s impending financial boost comes after a messy split between the 26-year-old and PSG last summer.

After the latter were left furious with their departing frontman, Nasser Al-Khelaifi and co. actually launched a court case against Mbappé, only for the latter to strike back with a lawsuit of his own.

Mbappé’s payout will come owing to alleged unpaid wages in the final months of his contract in Paris.
