Real Madrid youngster spotted in first-team training

A highly-regarded young member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid was spotted back in the thick of things in senior training on Saturday.

The player in question? Thiago Pitarch.

Youngster Pitarch saw his name emerge as a prominent one in the media chatter surrounding Real Madrid over the early weeks of the campaign.

This came after the Spaniard, fresh off turning 18, was drafted into the first-team setup at Valdebebas by Xabi Alonso.

Not only that, but Pitarch went on to impress to the point that he remained with Los Blancos’ star-studded squad for several weeks.

And as alluded to above, after linking back up with Real Madrid Castilla, this weekend, the midfield talent was under Xabi Alonso’s watch once more.

As per club insider Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, amid the injury absences of the likes of Franco Mastantuono and Aurélien Tchouaméni, Pitarch played his part in Real’s final preparatory training session before facing Rayo Vallecano.
