An up-and-coming member of the midfield ranks at Real Madrid is attracting summer interest on the part of La Liga rivals Girona.
That’s according to Blancos insider Javier Rodríguez Pascual, who points towards César Palacios as the player in question.
Palacios, for his part, is a 20-year-old midfielder, who generally operates in an attacking role, but is also more than capable of taking to the pitch in a deeper berth, or even out wide.
The Spanish youth international has long been held in high regard behind the scenes at Valdebebas, considered a potential star in the making.
Palacios spent this past season plying his trade with Real Madrid Castilla.
And if the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, the youngster’s performances evidently did not go unnoticed on the part of another of La Liga’s clubs.
As per a report from journalist Javier Rodríguez Pascual:
‘Girona want to sign César Palacios, Castilla midfielder. But Real Madrid don’t want him to leave.’
