Real Madrid youngster Joan Martínez is on the transfer radar of a number of leading European clubs.
That’s according to The Athletic, who have on Monday provided an insight into the situation.
Stopper Joan, for his part, has long been considered to be a future first-team star in the making behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.
Prior to suffering an ACL tear in the summer of 2024, in fact, the starlet had carved out a place for himself in the first-team plans of Carlo Ancelotti at just 16 years of age.
Joan has spent the time since working his way back towards full fitness, through appearances in the colours of Real Madrid Castilla.
And along the way, as alluded to above, the 18-year-old is understood to have grabbed the attentions of a whole host of clubs.
As per a report from The Athletic:
‘Joan Martínez is attracting the attention of some big clubs. Among them are Borussia Dortmund, who have shown concrete interest in the promising youngster.’
It is also noted, however, that Real Madrid have no plans to part with Joan any time soon.
