Real Madrid TV ahead of Barcelona clash: ‘It won’t be a normal match’

The team of analysts at Real Madrid TV have sparked widespread chatter across the Spanish football landscape for just the latest occasion on Sunday evening.

This comes courtesy of a round of comments regarding the fast-approaching Clásico.

La Liga’s two biggest clubs are of course primed to lock horns in short order, when Hansi Flick’s table-topping Barcelona play host to José Mourinho and Real Madrid.

In the weeks building up to the fixture, much of the chatter has centred on officiating both present and past, amid ongoing discourse surrounding the infamous ‘Negreira Case’.

Ahead of kick-off at the Spotify Camp Nou, the team at the aforementioned Real Madrid TV therefore made use of the opportunity to aim one final dig at their side’s arch rivals, courtesy of the following statement:

“Everything suggests that it won’t be a normal match. What hope do we have? The on-field referee has filed a complaint against us in the past, while the VAR referee was involved in Carlos Romero’s violent tackle on Mbappé. Real Madrid fans have no hope with the referees. We and Barça are polar opposites in benefitting from refereeing decisions.”
