La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week been dealt a blow on the transfer front.
This comes amid confirmation that the club’s deal for Ajax prodigy Abdellah Ouazane has fallen through at the last.
The name of youngster Ouazane of course emerged as a prominent one in the headlines in Spain’s capital earlier this summer.
As much came after word was forthcoming that those behind the scenes at Real Madrid had earmarked the 16-year-old as a prime summer transfer target.
A deal, in turn, was quickly worked out with Ouazane and his representatives, for the attack-minded midfielder to take his talents to La Liga.
As alluded to above, however, just when the transfer looked set to be made official, a last-minute hitch has seen the deal collapse.
As per a report from Blancos insider Jorge C Picon, relaying information first revealed by Ramón Álvarez de Mon:
‘The signing of Abdellah Ouazane by Real Madrid has fallen through. The 16-year-old Moroccan player did not pass the medical examinations.’
