La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Friday been afforded some altogether welcome news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that defensive standout Dean Huijsen has returned to training alongside the rest of Xabi Alonso’s squad.
Stopper Huijsen has for his part been forced to sit out Real Madrid’s most recent fixtures, owing to a calf injury suffered in a La Liga meeting with Elche.
All told, the Spanish international has played no part in any of Los Blancos’ last five outings.
Amid an ongoing personnel crisis in his side’s defensive ranks, Huijsen’s absence has been sorely felt, with Real having managed wins in just two of these five matches.
All associated with Los Merengues will therefore no doubt be delighted with the latest word stemming from Valdebebas on Friday.
As showcased below, Huijsen has been given the green light to rejoin group activities in training:
The expectation, in turn, is that the youngster will also be cleared to play his part against Deportivo Alavés on Sunday.
